ASPIRE – Students Skill Development Programme

ASPIRE – CUSAT

It is observed that the many students in the current era have low self esteem and they are facing intrapersonal and interpersonal problems related to academic, family, peers or career and they are needed to be encouraged towards the improvement of employability and social development. Training for employability and increasing self confidence is essential for a large group of students. Working environment in the modern world is different from what they learned at class room because of global competition, cultural diversity, latest technologies and lack of critical thinking.

Our present education system is more formal and classroom oriented. This style is usually designed to provide specific information in the form of written
documentation for the employee to memorize. We realize that the very purpose of Department of Youth Welfare is to build confidence, compassion and creativity
among students through training and imparting skillful knowledge to achieve
heights.
