The School of Management Studies, CUSAT will host TALENTIME 2011, the 28th edition of its Annual Management and Cultural Fest, on 14th, 15th, and 16th of October, 2011.
Talentime 2011 is the 28th edition of the fiesta. We, the students of SMS are proud to say that all the previous editions of this event have been hailed as highly successful.
Following the suit of SMS, other management schools too have come up with their own fests but it is talentime which is still considered as the benchmark for management fests nationwide. Being the oldest management and cultural fest in South India, over the years the event has attained an iconic stature.
Talentime provides an ideal battlefield for the able and tactful warriors to battle it out and emerge as the victors. The event is now known as the Olympiad of wit and skill.
The event can boast to be having a wide coverage and reach with people from all walks of life thronging the venues to catch a glimpse of the show. Alumni’s from around the globe come together to be a part of the festival , herald of their alma mater. With a crowd of over 6000 witnessing this mammoth annual gala, talentime transcends the boundaries from being just a college meet to a festival celebrating talent and skills.

- Mr or Ms Talentime
is the ultimate showdown where participants battle it out to be the best among the lot through series of challenging rounds where their skills are put to test and the one who survive is titled Mr. or Ms. Talentime. To be crowned Mr. or Miss. Talentime one has to be the jack of all management trades, that is the best manager. It is undoubtedly the signature event of Talentime.

Intellectual Premier League “AUCTION”. A blend of strategy and skill, the event aims to take the participants one step closer to the IPL auction itself. The two stage event will first see the participants battling it out through auction to earn the title team of their choice. The eight teams (tentatively) who succeed in doing so will proceed to stage two-The Real Action.

Online stock game
“Where trading meets competency”
Online Stock trading game, that allows you to pretend to invest in real stocks. Pitching the wits and skills against fellow traders in trading games adds the stimulation and extra interest to the mundane task of learning the basics.
Game starts from 29th September and ends on 14th October 2011. The game is open to graduate and post graduate students and free from registration fees. The game is implemented through trading platform Khelostocks.com, which is an online trading platform. An exclusive landing page is created for the ONLINE STOCK GAME TALENTIME2011. Participants will have to register and login in order to participate in the event. Once logged in participants will able to play the game and use all other features of khelostocks.com. Site will evaluate top performers of the day and over all contest from amongst this exclusive group and feature them on the landing page. Sponsors would be crediting the Prize amount 10,000 to the winner’s DEMAT ACCOUNT, which is created by the sponsor.
