CUSAT has fast-tracked its partnership initiatives with various universities abroad.
Intellectual Property Rights will be the core area of its proposed tie-up with University of Texas while it has already signed an MoU with University of Louisiana on Marine Engineering.
“We are planning to offer a short-term course on intellectual property rights (IPR) as part of the proposed tie-up with Texas University. The varsity is working out modalities to initiate the association,” said J. Letha, Vice Chancellor.
“Research and exchange programmes involving faculty members and students will be the key in our partnership with University of Louisiana. Short-term programmes in Marine Engineering will be launched as part of this tie-up,” she added.
The varsity authorities hope that the academic tie-ups will open up new opportunities for its researchers.
