Cochin University of science and technology CUSAT found its place among Times Higher Education BRICS and Emerging Economics Ranking 2017.
CUSAT was ranked as 801 among the world universities and 251-300 among the BRICS rank list.
Vice Chancellor J. Letha said that the global recognition came as a result of the academic reforms being made by the university in tune with the changing times. – The Hindu
The Times Higher Education BRICS & Emerging Economies University Rankings 2017 includes only institutions in countries classified as “advanced emerging”, “secondary emerging” or “frontier” by the FTSE, including the BRICS nations of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
